BRIEF BIO: English, formally educated in the United States, earning a Fine Arts degree from Barry University. Actively involved in fine arts, design & corporate communities in South Florida, Tampa, Washington DC, Atlanta, London, & Manchester England. Currently Chief Creative Officer, Rennock Studios Inc. ARTIST STATEMENT: In making art, immediate impact is a consistent goal and essential component of my work. Moreover, it is perhaps most essential that innovations and intellectual complexities do not get in the way of the message. My current works focus on color and style. I generally employ many creative and analytical disciplines and principles when approaching and indeed refining a work of art. I address and discard constructs numerous times in sketch and thought before committing to a work of art. My work appeals to all and my influences come from a variety of peers, contemporary artists and superb draftsman, Andrew Wyeth, Pearlstein, Escher, and of course the mastery of Da Vinci and Michelangelo. Current major influences include great colorists, impressionists and prolific pastel artists such as Mary Cassatt, and Wayne Thiebaud.
